Preferred Qualifications:
Business Intelligence ODI Developer
This role is an exciting role implementing a Business Intelligence program of work with high visibility to Executives within Oracle. The ideal candidate would have a strong working knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence solutions (ODI) and must have a minimum of 4 years experience implementing Oracle BI Projects
Duties:
Design and develop ODI interfaces and packages from a variety of different data sources
Troubleshoot and tune ODI interfaces
Model data warehouse solutions depending on reporting requirements
Create appropriate optimal indexing strategy for new solutions implemented
Create documentation of ODI interfaces
Perform maintenance and support of existing interfaces
Create Load Plans for nightly refresh of data.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements:
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Desired Profile
Qualifications:
1. 4+ years experience designing ETL interfaces, in particular working with Oracle ODI
2. Experience in creating the following Data Warehouse tables: Dimensions, Fact Tables & Aggregate Tables
3. Strong understanding of relational databases and Data warehousing concepts
4. Experience modelling data warehouse solutions and in particular working with Star and Snowflake schemas.
5. Experience designing and implementing ODI ETL solutions from inception to GO LIVE with minimum supervision
6. Understanding of data warehouse indexing and performance tuning data warehouse tables and queries
7. Experience working on troubleshooting and performance tuning of ETL interfaces
8. Experience creating data validation test cases
9. Strong PL/SQL knowledge
10. Hands on experience with Unix/Linux
11. Good communication and documentation skills
12. Experience using OBIEE preferable though not essential
Bachelors degree.
