Key Responsibilities

To help doctors document (transcribe) the care note and facilitate the usage the EMR when patient returns along with facilitating continued care.
Job Description

Qualification: Graduation in any subject (in science/ healthcare preferred)

Experience:

  • 1 year experience in medical transcription
  • Experience in ICD coding and EMR preferred

Competencies:

  • Ability to learn new electronic system
  • Excellent typing skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Be part of continued care team and be the facilitator
  • Distinguish between homonyms, and recognize inconsistencies and mistakes
  • in medical terms, referring to dictionaries, drug references, and other sources
    on anatomy, physiology, and medicine.
  • Identify mistakes in reports, and check with doctors to obtain the correct information.
  • Perform data entry and data retrieval services, providing data for inclusion in medical records and for transmission to physicians.
  • Return dictated reports in printed or electronic form for physicians’ review, signature, and corrections, and for inclusion in patients’ medical records.

Required Experience: 1 – 6 yrs
